Anonymous File Sharing — No Account, No Email, No Trace
Send files without revealing who you are. No sign-up, no email address, and no personal details — just a temporary PIN code that disappears within 10 minutes.
Send files anonymously, without leaving a trail
Most file sharing services ask for an account or an email address before you can send anything. Shooting File asks for neither. You upload a file, receive a random 6-digit PIN code, and share that code with whoever needs the file. There is no profile to create, no inbox to verify, and no name attached to the transfer.
Your file is uploaded directly to encrypted storage using a secure pre-signed URL, so it never passes through a logged account. We do not store personal information, and the file — along with its PIN — is permanently deleted after 10 minutes. Once it is gone, recovery is impossible, which means nothing lingers in the cloud after your transfer is done.
This makes anonymous file sharing genuinely simple: useful when you want to hand off a document without exposing your identity, when you do not want a download link tied to your account, or when you simply prefer not to register for yet another service just to move a single file.
No account required
No name, email, or password. Nothing about the transfer is tied to a personal profile.
No email needed
Unlike link-by-email services, you never enter an address — the PIN code is the only thing you share.
Auto-deletes in 10 minutes
Files and their PINs are permanently erased, leaving no recoverable trace behind.
Encrypted transfer
Uploads and downloads use secure pre-signed URLs, so data is encrypted in transit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the file sharing really anonymous?
Yes. You never create an account or enter an email address. The only identifier in the whole process is a temporary, randomly generated PIN code — and it is deleted along with the file after 10 minutes.
Do you log my files or personal data?
We do not store user information. Files are held in encrypted storage only for the short expiry window and are then permanently deleted. There is no account history to look back through.
Is anonymous file sharing safe?
Files are transferred over encrypted, secure pre-signed URLs and access requires the exact PIN code. Because everything auto-deletes after the timer, there is no permanent copy left to be exposed later.
How is this different from WeTransfer or email?
WeTransfer and email require an address to send to. Shooting File replaces that with a PIN code you can share however you like, so no email account is involved on either side.
